Position Summary:

This position is an employee of Tommy Nobis Center providing supervision and support at a Distribution Center in Lithia Springs, Georgia.

The Community Site Supervisor provides leadership and direction to trainees and employees while working alongside the team in a warehouse. The Community Site Supervisor will manage the daily operations of the community-based site and ensure a high level of customer service

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Acts as a working supervisor assisting workers in performing tasks.
  2. Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessions as needed.
  3. Provides excellent customer service to the community site customer(s) keeping them happy.
  4. Ensures prompt and thorough communication with Case Managers regarding client progress and concerns.
  5. Conducts work daily with a sense of urgency and "hustle".
  6. Responsible for set-up and workflow of the community site. This could encompass product movement, pallet movement, and monitoring of in-bound and out-flow material flows.
  7. Ensure all payroll entries are done daily.
  8. Serves as a liaison between Community-based site employer and Tommy Nobis Center.
  9. Seeks to strengthen and build community site relationship for Tommy Nobis Center in coordination with the Community Site and the Director of Programs.
  10. Maintains a good attendance record.

Experience and Skills:

Education:

  • High school diploma. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior Experience Desirable:

  • Two years’ experience working with and training persons with disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Hungry, humble and smart.
  • Ability to drive motor vehicles.
  • Functional computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications, and driver’s license.
  • Must pass drug screen and background check.
  • Must have a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
